Site 71 at Yogi's Jellystone Resort Summer 2003 is our fifth year at the campground. As you can tell from the pictures, the site is shady for much of the day. The area around the fire pit and the hammock get sun in the afternoon - a great place to read or nap! We try to decorate the site for each of the "theme" weekends - mainly Halloween (August), Labor Day, Christmas (July), and Memorial Day.
The site was pretty plain when moved to it last year. A small stairway was built to get from the cement patio to the lower level where the fire pit is located. A patio area was laid out around the fire pit for seating because of the soft sand and sinking chairs. We have been trying to get grass to grow around this area for the last two years. Many flowers and planters have been added. |
